It looks like one of those shutter-synced helicopter vids, even in the trailer. The machine-gun needs its fire rate changed a bit so it doesn't sync-up with the frame rate this much. It would still be limited by heat in the long run. The shotgun is pretty good, but would feel better with a faster baseline fire rate. Please give them something to justify their existence. It happened 3 times in 48 minutes and one of those times was so bad I had to reset a level. Also FYI there's a bug that causes you to clip down into the truck when you kick an enemy. Also it should be more usable as a stomp - too many times have I landed on top of enemies only for them to live. It could use more reach and maybe a wider hitbox, because we're occasionally kicking jumping opponents while jumping ourselves. Maybe it should even have a bit of auto-aim to compensate for near misses. The grappling foot must not grapple the ground. On one hand it's nice to have more control over the jump length, on the other - a single dash is basically worthless and I kinda hate to use jump and three dashes to cover a distance that would've been just a jump if the dashes weren't in the game. Also the top of an open container doesn't count as a wall jump opportunity either - it really should. You should at least be able to clear a container: There's this model of a truck you use with an empty flat bed at the back and an open container on the front - I found it annoying that I couldn't jump from one side right to another. And it should count as touching down for the purposes of dash reset. Also both here and in Clustertruck you walljump to get on top of a vehicle, not away from it, so the wall jump should push you up mostly vertically, not away like in other games. Especially from the back - it shouldn't drive away once I touched it. The wall jump is unreliable and it would benefit a lot from sticking a bit to the side of the truck. Movement is not bad, but not quite right, imo. It's really enjoyable already, but you have a long road ahead of you still. Then I wanted to confirm a few things and ended up playing through the whole thing again, but this time only in 18 min. Okay, I've played the demo for 30 minutes and completed it on normal difficulty.
